Editor's Note: We have NEVER seen such an abundance of publishable manuscripts.  That number

would be in the neighborhood of 30-40 book entries.  We thank one and all for your very kind

support of MARGIE/IntuiT House and our contest beneficiary which will receive a portion of

each entry fee, FEED THE CHILDREN (R)  Thus, we have a brand new book competition

forthcoming with a new POSTMARK DEADLINE of SEPTEMBER 30, 2009:

"THE FIRST ANNUAL AUNTIE ANN BOOK AWARD"

Some history, Auntie Ann was our beloved great aunt.  A lady of very modest means.  Every

birthday, Easter and Christmas she would send all the kids in our family, and later, all our

children, a card--and inside a generous check (one she could not well-afford).  She was a living

Saint.  We miss her deeply and dedicate this annual award to her sweet memory.

or send SASE to:  MARGIE/IntuiT House, POB 250, Chesterfield, MO 63006

PS: Please forgive the amount of time it took for me to judge this contest.  It was so difficult to

pick a single winner, I chose two.  Further, we do not use "screeners" or "readers"... I read each

manuscript myself.  I don't want to miss a single mss. or POEMS contained therein for

publiscation in MARGIE.  Approximately 60% of poems chosen for publication in MARGIE are

culled from contest entries...both "Best Poem" and "Book".  Also, with a new POSTMARK DEADLINE:

Septemer 30, 2009, our 8th Annual "Editor's Prize Best Poem Contest.  Guidelines by either

method.  The poets and poems selected thus far...our acceptances for Vol. 8 are evolving...

have already been notified.  MARGIE is available by SUBSCRIPTION ONLY.  We are about 75-80%

Sold Out PRIOR to publication.  Should you wish to read us you may subscribe online or by

snail mail: $19.85 per copy, Shipping Included...400+ PAGES/150+ POETS...

see our Home Page for contributors thus far:
